Natural Balance® Ultra Premium Cat Food is made for All Life Stages and provides premium nutrition for every stage of life. In Nature, your pets would not have the choice of kitten formulas, nor lighter formulas for their senior years; they would simply live on a diet of mostly meat and some grain. In a natural free environment, animals instinctively eat more or less, depending on their age and activity level.

CATS

THE KITTEN Kittens should be fed free choice to promote healthy growth and adequate weight gain. To encourage consumption, newly weaned kittens can be offered food moistened with warm water.

THE ADULT Adult cats should be fed twice a day. When you first start feeding Natural Balance® dry cat food, we suggest to start with the amounts recommended in the Table under in the Feeding Chart in the Ultra Premium Feline Formula page. Energy requirements vary with environmental conditions, temperature and the activity level of your cat. The amount of food should always be adjustable to suit your cat’s needs. If you would like to provide a special treat for your cat, you can add small amounts of Natural Balance® Canned Cat Food.

THE OLDER CAT As your cat begins to age, his energy expenditure will decrease. Decreasing the amount of food accordingly will allow for the maintenance of proper body weight for less active cat. Older cats are sometimes more reluctant to eat hard foods. Adding larger amounts of Natural Balance® Canned Cat Food will make the most “finicky” eater enjoy his daily meals.

THE PREGNANT QUEEN Gestating and lactating Queens will consume more food - usually 1/2 to 2 cups of dry food daily.
